They’re going on a trip. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling company in the world and has been for quite some time. They have an international presence like no other promotion, as the company’s product is broadcast in several countries. In addition, the company occasionally takes its events abroad, which is what they seem to be planning again for next year. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Changes Roman Reigns’ Likely Royal Rumble Challenger According to SportsKeeda, WWE is planning an international event in Hyderabad, India at some point in January, likely on the 18th. It is not currently known if the event will be broadcast on television. While not confirmed, the event may have been set up to be close to Republic Day, an Indian national holiday, on January 26. He’s up next. It has been a long time since WWE fans have seen anything like Roman Reigns’ current World Title reign. After almost two and a half years as the Universal Champion, the question becomes who could possibly take the title from Reigns. This includes Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT, each of whom have their own unique group of stars. Shotzi announced that Rodriguez had suffered a broken arm and a dislocated elbow. It’s time for Survivor Series and for the first time in years, there is a feeling of interest about the show. Instead of the completely dead in the water Raw vs. Smackdown Battle For Brand Supremacy, WWE has thrown their old ideas out the window and brought in a pair of WarGames matches. That alone should be enough to carry the show and….well there are only three more matches so WarGames is kind of carrying things. Let’s get to it. AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor I would have bet on this being the elimination match but instead we’ll just have Judgment Day and the OC at ringside to make things more crowded. Then again, I think I can go with the idea of Balor vs. Styles on a major show and likely getting a lot of time. That being said, Styles hasn’t won a singles match on pay per view in something like three years, so there might not be so much drama. Immediately upon his debut, Lesnar was presented as The Next Big Thing and he has been a monster in the company during his on and off career. Paul has released a video on his YouTube page, announcing that he has suffered a torn MCL and will need a minimum six weeks to heal. That’s rather serious. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never know how bad something is going to be at first. Then comes the waiting, as you have nothing else to do but see just how long someone is going to be out of action. Sometimes that can be for a good while and in worse cases, it can be indefinite. Unfortunately an all time legend is dealing with the latter. Back in May, Randy Orton left WWE TV to deal with a back injury and has not been seen since. According to Fightful Select, Orton underwent some sort of back fusion surgery at some point this year. WWE sources have reportedly said that the company will be lucky to have Orton back after his recovery. However, when he was initially injured, Orton said that he would be back at some point. There is nothing in the way of a guess about when Orton could return to the ring. Orton is amazing when he is able to be in the ring. That would be a big one. We are coming close to the end of the year and that means WWE should already be planning for the next year, including WrestleMania 39. The show will be held on the grand stage in Los Angeles, California and that means WWE is going to need to pull out all the stops to make the show feel huge. They already might be planning for a clash of the titans. According to Xero News on Twitter, WWE is considering a match between Brock Lesnar and Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania 39. There is no word on if the Intercontinental Title would be up for grabs, as Gunther could lose the title by then or wrestle in a non-title match. There is nothing to confirm that the match has been set for the show and this is only a discussion at the moment.
